Many night clubs have advertised that females patrons will be given free drinks as an inducement to increase the attendance numbers.

The Judges decision amounts to these night clubs basically abetting possible rape of female patrons.

I wondered about that too.

But I also know that alcohol's effects can be delayed - especially mixed drinks, first a bit merry and half an hour later you are whacked and falling asleep on the couch.

They also might have had more drinkies later - though I have no evidence either way of this.
