Hi raider I think you're taking this article the wrong way.
He is a witness outlining his opinion on the harm this matter may have caused her chances of being preselected.

He's not making a comment on her actual performance or whether she was competent or not.

I've already posted my opinion on her performance, regardless of this issue.

Imo she didn't do a good job at all as minister.
