Thanks mate, appreciate your response. Not my intention to get anyone to crosspromote but...anyone aware of other companies similar to RFF?
By this I mean:
- Strong economic moat (eg selling something people have to buy, like RFF leasing farmland that's critical)
- Well capitalized to handle economic/recession shocks
- Sells a product/makes money through something that does not rely on the general public's perceptions
- Something I can hold cash in for a very long time through good times and bad (not an ETF)
I have the obvious ones like commodities, oil etc. but if anyone does know of any more unique businesses it would be appreciated if you could point me in their direction. I assume others here are invested in RFF because they expect economic issues and want something stable and defensive.
