This sort of share price drop is normally associated with a profit warning from the company involved.

In fact last week RFG gave a "optimistic" guidance of a 6% NPAT increase this year. Not entirely convincing but something they will be measured against.

Today's big drop is primarily based on a article by the SMH who would almost certainly have tried to interview the most dissatisfied franchisees. Unfortunately not everyone (including me) has the ability to run a small business.

I suppose the significance of this story depends on how good you think the SMH is as an investigative newspaper.
