I assure you I found the exact same practices.
The stores are also impossible to sell because if you found someone to buy your store by some luck they needed franchise approval. At that point rfg or there broke would encourage them to buy one of the companies stores instead.
Also about 5-6 years ago they offload a few company stores that where not very good for 50k or less the average Brumbys at the time was selling for 400-500k that automatically dropped the value of franchisees on the Gold Coast
