I'm very surprised that you claim to have worked in the city yet are unaware of just how traders rip off anybody and everybody. Trust me, I worked for the major houses in London for over 25 years and it is rampant.

The standard salary package is say 6 figures but that pays their mortgage only, the big bucks is on 6 monthly bonuses and or monthly commissions. You make say $5mln trading expect a minimum of 1 mln back otherwise you join their rival.

Bonuses and commssions are the sole reason I, and 99% of others worked there.
