the above article, for those who havnt seen it, is worth a read. it is a refreshingly balanced and well researched piece on the for and against arguments for shorters of rfg.
personally i think the arguments for shorting rfg are relatively weak compared to the future growth runway with soon to be realised synergies, organic store rollouts, international expansions and future eps accretive acquisitions.
i dont see the enquiry report into franchises or the moderate sales of existing franchises as major headwinds.
ive got a decent parcel of rfg in the high 5s and looking to add more at low 5s which is getting mighty close.
i think technically the shorters will encounter strong support in low 5s and struggle to get it below high 4s unless they throw a lot of volume at it around$5, which will leave them very exposed if there is a positive catalyst or in the lead up to the next report.
