The EV charger commercial market manufacturers' target is to achieve an 80% charge within a similar time frame that a person takes at a petrol station nowadays.
To achieve such fast charge times high power DC superchargers of at least 300kW are required & up to 600kW.
Tesla's older models can charge at up to 150kW whereas the newer models will be able to utilise Tesla's new V3 250kW superchargers.
