Keep in mind some of the smartest minds in the resources industry (Sprott/Rick Rule) Backed BGS for 3 years, continuously. I've not seen them act this way with any other junior play during the past bear market of 5 years in gold. You don't buy assets that are not quality continously, especially when you are spoilt for choice as everything was cheap the past 5 years during this bear.
I believe ECP/Sprott sold simply because of a change in company direction. It doesn't meet their investment thesis to be involved with lithium, and with foresight we can see they've made a mistake, but every firm/fund have their own rules. The change of focus from Gold obviously meant they wanted to get out. This in no way ruins the thesis/opportunity of a deal with Randgold to process the satellite deposits at Massigui.
Extremely exciting time to be a BGS shareholder.
