Rheinmetall marder unmanned fire fighting vehicle.

Just to fill in another 10 minutes,the jigsaws going great.
The Rheinmetall milvehcoe in qld is using the pre puma/lynz German IFV vehicle (marder) as a platform to develop an unmanned fire fighting vehicle.
Includes a water canon (I guess including fire retardant chemicals) and the obvious capability for clearing fallen trees on access tracks or simply clearly fire breaks.
I like the idea considering first imo being a German designed vehicle and besides Australia could/should have strong US and European markets .
Just makes sense to me in preference to sending fire fighters into high risk situations such as specific patrols,access road clearing and fire breaks.
ps they received a 5g $20m grant from the fed govt to develop with telstra the vehicle.Apparently the vehicle sends up a drone to maintain the 4g/5g connectivity plus other technologies.
