but the shortages you're talking about are precisely why in my opinion that the EV revolution won't happen yet
a lot of these expensive stocks will fail
a few will get operating, but lithium specifically is wildly expensive
copper and all that have a reasonable future due to the fact that 80% of copper ever mined is still in use, infrastructure spending needs more copper and EV's need more copper
the demand isn't going to happen overnight and EV infrastructure still needs to be put in place and kinks need to be ruled out before EV's can be widely available
in my opinion I don't think it will really start taking off until around 2024-2025
once people realise that, precious metals and uranium will have its time in the sun
lithium will flop really hard imo,
but copper will be needed for more than just EV's, zinc is still needed for steel which will also bounce back once China get on top of their energy crisis
