Yeah. What the hell happened today that changed sentiment!? Surely this must either be a whale or some people overreacting on the news. The recent floods in inland NSW shouldn't greatly affect Ridley. Maybe some input cost affects, but most of their contracts are pass through.
If it falls much further I might have to change my sentiment from HOLD to BUY!
IMO the biggest value gains in RIC from here are NOVACQ (which is a wild card that I've previously dismissed) and general efficiency gains which that are actively chasing and implementing ASAP. I am aware that demand for monogastric feed is currently quite high, so there is plenty of money to be made if companies can delivery. Ruminant demand is somewhat lower due to the abundance of green pasture.
