Is it (temporarily) another 'casualty' of the Foot and Mouth disease debate that's ongoing with the Federal Liberal/Nationals Opposition calling upon the 'training wheels' Labor/Greens Government to shut down flights from Indonesia?
Previously, in February 2020, then Prime Minister Scott Morrison acted quickly and shut Australia off from mainland Chinese flights, saving many lives by his decisive action.
FMD would be disastrous and lead to temporary culling of pigs and bovine creatures, so demand for stockfeed would presumably plummet.
