I never recall bagging OBL for having a go...I just have issues with the degree of spin put on the claims that an accumulation has been 'proved' to exist before it has been shown to exist.
The play was a punt, and the testing is also a punt and I applaud Neil for having a go.
As for drilling a well... the well was drilled a few years ago and the reservoir is cased off... drilling the plug is a component of testing operations, which began days ago.
