I understand and like your post.
I am a little bit worried about a recession and higher interest rates but hopefully by then they may be able to raise more capital to help funding, and may even be able to attract a higher rate off retailers. Retail margins are often up to 100% markup and I know lots of retailers struggle with the large fixed costs. I think this is preferable to them to having 30% off type sales etc. I think if retailers get sick off afterpay fees and drop it as a payment option they might well find they lose that incremental revenue and be much worse off.
If afterpay can go as viral in the US and UK like it is starting to in AUS this company will be huge and grow into and past it’s current rich valuation easily imo!!
