Spot on psi81! I'll be interested to see what CPSA has to say after the planned Survey#3 has been sent out and tabulated, if anything different. There was a lot of shares traded (50m+) between May and June up to the last halt and the Top 20 at 31 May looks a lot different to 30 April. Since the halt/suspension very little stock has traded which is also interesting. One thing's for sure, MQG would not be buying because they can't vote their stock. They would be foolish to play games and have nominees buy stock for them too. There's one thing MQG is not, and that's foolish!

I'm sure a few shareholders have lost their nerve and bailed out at 17c-20c during May. The buyers motivation will be interesting to know. The TOP 20 changes indicate there must be one or two big hitters who have entered the ring? Big risk on their part if they're thinking the Scheme will go ahead and they can make a quick turn plus have a CVN as potential icing on the cake. If that's how they're thinking it is a risky strategy. From what we all know, unless the masses attitude dramatically changes these players will have to buy a lot more stock to push the vote their way.

The Scheme meeting is only a week away. The government has now firmed up (been known for a while now) its intention to direct exported gas into the domestic market. Please excuse my cynicism but that may be just enough for CTP/MQG to instigate another halt next week and produce Supplementary Booklet #3 to buy more time? Court's tend to worry about shareholders being fully informed so it's relatively easy to convince the Court the new information is necessary. Some call it legal manipulation.
