I am pleased that Richard Cottee has started his employment with CTP. It was heartening to read that CP was not going to oppose his appointment.
Before I retired I managed a team of around 300 employees and picked managers based on their previous performences. Richard Cottee has achieved at QGC what I believe most CTP shareholders are looking for and I would expect him to negotiate with potential JV partners as soon as possible.
As far as JH is concerned I believe that this should be a decision for the new Ceo as to what role he should play.
Once we get through the extraordinary meetings I believe that if we are able to keep Richard Cottee we will all be happy with the results we may be able to achieve under his leadership.
As far as his salary package goes, I have absolutely no problems and trust that he will have sufficient incentives
and support to deliver the results we all need.
