Cable or rather Sterling (GBP) was much higher when SGB, HVN and NAB went in so it appears that WES has come into England at a different time in the cycle. Sainsbury's (Argos), Marks and Spencers, B&Q (perhaps b4 the London bridge rented truck incident) and Kingfisher all appear to be growing considerably. Even though it seems competitive, a lot of companies in England seem to be sharing in a pie of plenty and there seems enough pie to share around.
Even their banks, insurers and defense companies in England are doing well and that compares favorably with some other developed countries I know and could mention.
