Hopkins refers to the fact that they were moving into animal models in the very same presentation. That was September 2015. Where are we now? Clearly we would like more guidance but at the end of the day its the milestone achievements that are important as the science develops.
Starting work within an animal model would set a very low bar for a milestone achievement. Publishing positive results from the animal model would be a high bar achievement particularly if it was a joint statement such as the case with the 9 December announcement re: ONJCRI.
Positive news in Myc would be amazing. After 40 years of trying no one has come up with a therapy. Phylogica, at the very least has a tremendously exciting innovative approach with its proprietary iMYC's. There is, however, a real possibility that it may be on the verge of a major breakthrough.
