    Chief and Robert --->

    Be very careful of projections about 250k oz/yr from the Morning Star tenements.

    Why? Well for a start, lets look at the following facts:

    - MCO have not yet poured an ounce of gold. Thats right, not an ounce.
    - The resource statement for Morning Star underground is considered to be seriously flawed by many prominent geologists. (I'm not saying there's no gold u/g, just that all that glitters isn't gold).
    - The reefs MCO plan to mine are all narrow vein. Not massive, nor capable of being mined by open cut. This makes extraction expensive, development costly and production slower that for other type deposits.
    - MCO have not announced any plans showing where mullock and tails from this 250k oz/yr production target will go. And at an ave grade of 10g/t, this equates to 700,000 tonnes of tailings PER YEAR. Add to this say 30% development waste rock and its reasonable that the company would need to find space in the tight upper Goulburn valleys to fit in 1,000,000 tonnes of tailings and waste rock PER YEAR. Have you been to Woods Point? Have you seen the terrain? Do you understand how difficult this challenge would be?
    - Following from the point above, DPI are notorious for playing hard ball with mining companies in the Victorian alpine ranges. Take the mill approval as an example. Do you know if any sizeable tailings dams or mullock heaps have been approved yet for either MCO or A1 mine down the road?

    Do you get where I am coming from? Dont get me wrong, I want the company to succeed as much as anyone, as well as the Victorian gold industry. But when people make outlandish statements such as has gone on on some of the MCO threads here, there is a very real risk that damage will be done to the companies integrity.

    Too much pressure on management from shareholders can lead to silly decisions from the top, jeopardising the whole show.

    Morning Star is still a baby, not yet walking in its own right. Once the pours begin and positive cash flow is achieved, then grand plans can be made as the company matures. But too many expectations at an early age can crush an infants spirit.

    So relax, nurture the baby and let it grow. And perhaps use a bit of cold logic when dreaming about production target of hundreds of thousands of ounces per year.
