I have nothing but respect and admiration for RP.

I personally knew RP for 15 years and the impact he had on my life is immeasurable. He genuinely cared for my future, and 1000s of other peoples too.

He listened to anyone wanting to talk to him, always answered his phone and always did what he said he would do, usually a little better than expected.

He gave 100s of millions of dollars to charities, more by a country mile than any other tycoon in this country - which he didnt have to do - and I was prvieleged enough to see that he actually cared for outcomes and results from his charitable work - rather than merely curry personal success, favor and reputation.

Australia is better off for having RP as one of its sons. I will miss him greatly, as will most who truly knew him - and he leaves a hole that cannot easily be filled.
