    re: the dow~richard russell comments Russell does at times, on face value at least, come across as a raging moralistic crackpot.. But if you actually get behind and into the thrust of his message he makes muchly sense. But as many bears insesantly write the real problem stems from governments and their financial arms who have extended the concept of "credit" beyond every rhime or reason and into the current manifested bubbles present today. The real sad thing is, apart from the many who will be financially crippled for years ahead, is when the bubbles to get pricked only a few scapegoats will be held up to blame and the many will escape scotchfree; just look into recent history for some classic examples i.e. Citibank & their role inflating the tech-boom.
