RR is not the only pessimist. Optomists and pessimists don't just see a glass as half full or empty. The optimist takes the immediate view that he still has half a drink, the other worries that with the high temperature it may all evaporate ie they have different time frames. Scroogy gets up in the morning, opens the window and sees a normal world going about it's business. We all know that the odds are very much in favour of it continuing that way and that one should trade it. The pessimist reads the newsletters and eMail, realises that the yanks are living in a fools paradise and that their house of cards will eventually crash down around them. (Different, unknown, time frame) Many of us accept this inevitability and don't wish to invest in it. Ergo; both can be right at the same time!
