Platinum?

I have a 1/2 ounce platinum Koala. I bought it 12 months ago as a proof, 1st issue coin of limited mintage for $720.

6 months ago the metal value alone of the coin was $1200+ !!!

Platinum has a looonnnngg way to go to come back.

Platinum is rarer than gold. It's used in catalytic converters in the automobile industry. A big producer was Zimbabwe - and they've closed down the mine.

You can't compare the two.
