Just had a look at the Sonris website to try and understand what may be going on - in the light of the usual lack of reporting from GGP.

A couple of things seem a little strange:

1) In the "Scout Info" column - What does the "Report Date" of 08/09/2010 refer to?

2) The reported depth is "5848'" - at which time the detail say "Lost Collar, Fishing etc".

The last Ann. from GGP on 02 August 2010 stated that the well was at 5,854ft (= deeper than Sonris) - resuming drilling after tropical storm required drilling to be suspended - BUT that
"There was no damage from the storm and drilling had commenced as quickly as possible after the storm threat had
past".

That is, the last Ann. from GGP was for a greater depth than the Sonris Report and that there was no problem.

3) ALSO - There seems little impact on the VIL sp or volume traded - in the light of the PASS activity this is a little strange is it not?

Are we assuming too much bad news here?

Any ideas on the significance of the Sonris Report Date?
