Had a thought on the difference in depth being reported.
If 7 days ago that depth of 6218ft was the depth of the drill string - measured lengths underground.. Last night once they have tripped out they only recovered the 5868ft, then that would be the depth.
Continuing the drill would then be at the lesser, I think....LOL
Perhaps someone has a better answer. Its not very clear whether they have recovered the damaged parts or have bypassed it.
