CPDLC,

I think your response to paykel is both measured and logical, however I would like to say that everyone seems to forget that Medusa is still in heavy development mode and that I dont think the recovered grade in the Dec 2008 qtr is maintainable until at least the 3rd qtr of this year when the annualised rate of 60K kicks in.

I also think whilst Co-O is a high grade mine, with pockets of very very good high grades, it will blend its ore so as not to lose too much into tails. It would be suicidal to high grade a high grade mine. That practice however is prevalent in low grade open pit mines as losses to tails is inmaterial

Any numbers between 12 to 14 gpt will be considered great whilst in developmental mode and perhaps slightly better when it completes it expansion phases.
