Let's assume, hypothetically, that Israel is brave enough to reach for peace. They negotiate a final settlement with all Arab neighbours & the Palestinian groups. They withdraw from Gaza and the West Bank.

Let's assume the worst case. Uday Hussein & freinds decide to invade Israel and break the treaty. Israel kicked their collective asses in '67 and Israels relative military strength is higher now than then. Israel would kick ass again. The US and Europe and every other civilized country would be onside given the clear breach of faith. Israel would reclaim Gaza and West Bank and we would be in the same situation we are now except Israel has the moral high ground. Not much of a risk.

What are the risks of the current policy? Do you think it is safe to earning the hatred of 1b people and losing the respect of the other 4b?

The truth is that terrorists with chem, bio or nuke weapons pose a far greater risk to Israel than the rusty tanks of Iraq or Syria. Israel is fighting the wrong war. An unjust war for a useless pile of sand. The most important war is for the moral high ground and the minds of the next generation. Return the useless sand pits of West Bank and the Gaza to the Palis, build a big wall, sign a peace treaty and reclaim the moral high ground.
