thanks Warnie... The property is less then 4km from the Brisbane CBD in a nice well respected suburb.. that's what the frustrating part is. Its not DCP and is zoned for multiple dwellings. IMHO the land is worth the contract price..

I have decided to bin St George and attempt with CBA (different valuer). I managed to get a 7 day finance extension by advising the vendors solicitor exactly what the situation is.
