Gold will have its day sometime.I worked out once that if everyone on the planet wanted to own 1 gram of the metal then there would not be enough to supply the request.Eventually there will be a shortfall when the banks get rid of their hoard.Look in the jewellers and see the price of gold chains.....way overpriced because people would rather spend the money on clothes,holidays,cars,cd's etc which did not exist when gold ruled the planet.The way of showing wealth these days is not by wearing a gold chain,right!!!
