Looking at the type of rig being specified here (Songa-Venus semi-submersible rig)it would not be a stretch to think that MEO were going to use Australian Drilling Associates Pty Ltd to manage the drilling of Artemis-1.

ADA were the team used for Zeus-1 in early 2009, after which the Songa-Venus semi-submersible rig they used was used by CNOOC Ltd to drill three wells in the Timor Sea area.

ADA is used typically by smaller juniors like MEO to improve their bargaining capabilities when drilling by providing a Drilling Consortium Management service thats helps to secure and share the resources of a rig.

So without a farm-in partner bringing in their own capability, it looks like MEO's fall back plan for drilling by itself would be to re-engage the same rig used for Zeus-1 by ADA.
