Info for Haul Rd Group – Dalton Drill Rig Move*** Early Notice – Permits Still in Process ***Starting Saturday, Feb. 15, at 12 a.m., Accumulate Energy Alaska, Inc., in partnership with Cruz Construction and Nordic, will begin moving a large drill rig on the Dalton Highway from Deadhorse to mile 386. The move is anticipated to last through Monday, Feb. 17, at 12 p.m.Traffic will not be able to pass the drill rig during the move. The rig is large enough that it requires both lanes of the highway to travel and it will be traveling at low speeds. Drivers should anticipate lengthy delays.Road closures will be established during the move to control traffic. Over the three day move, the drill rig will pull into pullouts in three locations and waiting traffic will be permitted to travel through. These are the locations and anticipated times:
