She was onboard the S/S Cajun Expr as well with the CNE entourage (pics r on FAR's 2014 preso's). I guess this time it would b for the testing & photoshoot Opp onboard the D/S Athena.
Surf-tree issues r mainly valve or hose related, so hope they had it sorted out b4 the entourage rocked up. Usually one gets a dignitary to open the 'flow valve' on the choke as a Diplomatic gesture, so has 2b well lubed by the crew. Hope FAR's staff got their Sample/Oil momento (oil in glass capsule souvenirs).
Also noticed Olympia went past the Athena yesterday, probably off to a yard ??
Interesting times for Senegal, I hope they Unitise Tortue gas discovery with Mauritania rationally. Pity Tullow didn't bother developing Banda gasfield despite the grants, as a pipeline was meant to head into Senegal.
Look fwd to an update on the BOPD & any associated Gas-cut.
SNE#1 oil sample has an average GOR (~750 scf/bbl for the 32 API oil). Hope that remains consistent down south at SNE-3.
