Had a feral 4 months ago. Decided after a few months, I'd name it and get it de-sexed and chipped, put a collar and tag on it. 3 days after that, it disappeared. Maybe the feral owners nabbed it back again. My cat died soon after. Cats are cats in the main but these guys are strong. The tabby is generally a very good and healthy cat in my experience. Sure they are common, but the cats I wanted to own 20 years ago, are no longer that cats I want now.
