If we have a good look at the pattern of postings here in the past 2 years, there is no denying, in my view, that there has been a concerted attempt by certain group of people, on a daily basis, to denigrate Labor and its ministers. I will not be surprised if some of these posters are Liberal Party staff members being asked to post here.
Certain posts regarding Kevin Rudd when he was the prime minister, and regarding his wife and her business interests were very close to being defamatory. He continues to receive derogatory comments to these days.
The same group of people are now targeting the current prime minister, belittling her abilities, her intellect, the way she walks, the way she looks.
Some people need to start to learn to accept defeat with grace, and work towards a win whenever that may come. The ability to accept the empire's decision in a parliamentary democracy is the very basic foundation of a pluralistic civil society. The loss of this basic quality can only result in the type of political environment we see so often in Africa, some parts of Asia and South America.
