I wonder if there will be plenty of jealousy in the workforce because of the disconnect law. Let's say Harry informs the boss that after he knock off he does not want to be disturbed. On the other hand Ralph is more amenable to getting a phone call at home and the boss asks him to come in a fix a problem. Ralph's pay packet will reflect the fact he got a healthy slice of O/T while Harry's pay packet stays at the award rate. Harry has a bitch about Ralph getting more money but Harry has to be reminded that he chose to stay uncontactable outside normal work times. It might even work out that a disturbance allowance is part of the sweetener enjoyed by Ralph.
