The non recourse loan part is definatly correct check SIS Act, if you are interested the ATO puts out a great book "DIY super its your money...but not yet"

It would be interesting to get a ruling on BCSCA. i questioned my adviser out of interest and it was her view that it would make the fund non complying as technically if you do not make payment they can go after other assets in the fund.

I wonder how many people put it in their SMSFs, they will find out soon enough.
