I haven't gone too far into his background, but he is reported to have come into some money and travelled extensively to places like Turkey, Pakistan, the Balkan countries and even North Korea (unusual). As I remember, Martin Bryant had money and was also all over the world. There has been speculation (not in respectable media organs!!) about Port Arthur (lone wolf nutter commits carnage so guns must go) and now we have a similar case in NZ (lone wolf nutter commits carnage so guns must go). I don't expect this strange similarity with Bryant or this train of enquiry to receive any consideration by 'respected journalists".
