Well that's the problem with the general public these days ................... it's not so much that they eagerly take the word of the "Collectivist Elite", they actually do not know how to process information and rely on their own cognitive processes so as to work it out themselves.

It's not dissimilar to speaking in a foreign language at a pace that leaves your word and context processing of the foreign language so far behind the speed of the conversation that you just fall back on a summary at the end of the conversation from a generous bystander (if you are lucky that is).
