He said this so he must be left wing, but he said that so he's clearly right. Stop trying to cover for your own inadequacies and admit there are lunatics everywhere, on both sides of the spectrum. Yes, the PM used the term 'right wing'. I have little respect for the current PM but at least he got that far in taking some ownership of what happened. Left wing people ('lefties') are criticised by certain people here for allowing muslims and others into this country. The left embraces multiculturalism with all it's positives though it can come with some negatives. They believe that all people from all nations and ethnic backgrounds can coexist happily if given the right encouragement. This can have many positive flow on effects. Many people from the right believe in nationalism, where everyone born on this planet stays in the country they were born in, work and trade only with people in their own country, and only visit some other countries on their holidays. They do not want people from other countries/cultures mixing with their own and are opposed to immigration in general (unless they are white skinned and well educated). Some of these people unfortunately go to extremes to do something about this. Racism exists because they do not want these people here. Violence can start or be perpetuated by these people particularly if they believe they wish to experience some kind of notoriety or if they think they have some kind of spiritual responsibility to act. Why would a person who believes in multiculturalism purposefully plan an attack like this? 'Lefties' also constantly push for gun control. 'Righties' believe in having access to guns, some also think that owning these semi automatic rifles is ok too. Anti-Islamic sentiment is pushed constantly on right wing news programs such as almost every show on Sky AfterDark, and this murderer was clearly anti-Islamic. He only targeted dark skinned people. Stop trying to run away from ownership of this crisis. He exists on your side of politics due to his actions more than his words. From what I understand this 'manifesto' is a rambling piece of garbage that only a lunatic would write. He is an extremist - just try distancing yourself from extremism regardless of what side of the political spectrum you are on and we'll all be in a better place.

Maybe he exists because of YOUR side of politics just as much as the other side of politics. You too should try stop running away from ownership of the crisis.
