Off-take agreements for Votorantim previous tonnage plus lack of certainty over existing agreement status has created enough uncertainty to keep larger players with rigid risk criteria from re-entering this nickel producer.
As a result shorters, bots, HFT and other parasites playing stock until there is some certainty over sales volumes. Prices should slowly improve but nothing miraculous. We are looking for the ability to make a modest profit during a sustained downturn rather than a rags to riches story. Good progress so far under new management.
