    If you had an MRE share worth 1.04 on Friday,

    then on monday you had an MRE share worth 70c and also one and a half rights worth 27c each, thats

    70c + ( 1.5 x 27c ) which is about $1.16

    So you were better off at the close monday than on friday.

    So it wasn't really down on monday at all
