    In my experience it can vary, as you'd expect from company to company and sector to sector.

    I took up my rights entitlement in an issue with MAH 18mths ago and it was discounted to the mkt price at the time. The sp never came back near the rights issue price and I still hold MAH.

    Regarding this issue (QGC), I will be taking up my entitlement, and do not expect the sp to revisit .63, if it does I would be surprised if it stayed there long.

    Seek further opinion than mine, and good luck.
