Thank you to all who responded.

I called up CS at 5pm yesterday and they said that they still haven't any record of my form/cheque. After checking my cheque account, the cheque was still not presented.
I was in 2 minds about cancelling the cheque but decided to hold off til this morning to allow for any last minute processing o'night.
Luckily I did because it was processed and CS confirmed it.

Hope that this is a good omen after all this.
