Update on Proposed Rights Issue Timetable
Nexus Energy Limited ("Nexus") refers to the announcements it has made in relation to proposed
offer to eligible shareholders of a fully underwritten, non-renounceable rights issue to raise
approximately $43 million (before costs and expenses), released on 2 September 2009.

By way of further update, Nexus announces that certain dates in relation to the rights issue have
changed. A summary of the key dates is as follows:

11 September 2009 Rights Issue prospectus is lodged with ASIC, and a copy of the prospectus will be released on ASX

16 September 2009 Existing shares quoted on an "ex" basis

22 September 2009 Record Date

28 September 2009 Prospectus and Entitlement and Acceptance Forms sent to eligible shareholders

13 October 2009 Acceptances close at 5.00 pm (AEDT)

14 October 2009 Shares quoted on a deferred settlement basis

21 October 2009 Despatch Date

22 October 2009 Commencement of normal trading of Rights
