barry the 5% drop (well 7%) was just a normal market fall - nothing to do with ex rights - that adjustment (fall) will happen tomorrow morning (for me, 8am on the UK exchange)

and it will fall more than 5% thats for sure ------ but the value of rights assigned to us will offset this, i.e. zero sum all things being equal.
