Good points from both of you.

Trev, my comment is that at the time of the announcement that the SPP was going to occur in the near future the share price was around the 20 cent mark and that positive flow rates were pending. However, no additional information was announced for over a month and the price of our share plummeted to its present price of 12 - 13 cents, due in my opinion to massive drop in confidence.

I know there are Posters here that say one has to fully research a company before prudently investing in it. Some even say one should actually visit the work sites and regularly call the directors etc. For most of us this is totally impractical on a time and cost basis. Even if the SH was able to do the above it then becomes a matter of timing....we all thought the shares would rise a year ago but it collapsed to present levels, e.g., closure of several high producing wells due to severe winter, poor gas prices and global recession.

We must in the main rely on announcements from Directors who have a statutory duty to shareholders. We do so by checking and rechecking correctness of same both by direct and indirect research. We try and become familiar with the type of business the coy is involved in; discuss issues pertaining to it; and read, review, listen and ask questions. Critical analysis of both good and bad news/opinions is an essential part of this process.

I do believe that the Underwriter in this instance is vital, for the reasons put forward by MrUpsideDown, especially as the current strategic plan for Mae unfolds. Look forward to reading more comments in this regards, Bernie
