I think that these actually are adjusted against the dilution. I'm not sure the exact rule, but if the share holding is diluted the excercise price of the options is adjusted accordingly. eg. something like if the dilution is by doubling the number of shares (as is expected) the price of the options is halved, ie down to 0.0075 from .015.
You'd be crazy to excercise options when you can buy shares at around 20% of the excercise price, but I reckon there is a legal requirement to put out a letter like that to option holders.
