Seems that 25% of ALL Australian households ALREADY consume video media on their PC, and that 11% do so on a mobile phone - meaning the market is ready to move away from the "postal" model into the download model.
Seems that Netflix (who QFX models itself on) also deals it an indirect blow, by announcing a move away from postal into download.
Not good. Given Australian's low adoption rate on catalogue services, and Australia posts generally tardy perfromance - this isnt a very soundly thought out strategy in my view
