professorx : market cap valued per ounce of gold basis, looks dirt cheap IMHO. From my understanding the Rushton mill transport costs were not a high proportion of OPEX , the main cost was in the actual mining and some spuriously high admin exploration costs. SO having an on site mill would not be enough to make it profitable IMHO, using the previous gold prices . Maybe with higher gold prices now it would be a different kettle of fish, but then the cost of a new processing plant is going to be more.
A good mine manager would make this work! maybe someone from DOM should head over.
